Shabbat Service & Lunch and Learn with student Rabbi KB Frazier

Join Shir Hadash at The J or on Zoom for a special Shabbat morning service led by student Rabbi Dr. Koach Baruch (KB) Frazier. KB will also lead the Shabbat HaGadol Torah discussion.

Immediately following the service and kiddush, KB will present a Lunch and Learn program titled “Building the Mishkan Together: Creating Truly Inclusive Communities.” A complimentary vegetarian or vegan box lunch will be provided.

KB was born in Kansas City and lived in St. Louis for 20 years. He received his BA from St. Louis University and a doctorate in audiology from Central Michigan University. He is currently a fourth year student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. He describes himself as an audiologist, musician, co-convener of the Tzedek Lab a dismantler of racism, and a sonic and spiritual leader. In 2020, KB was named a LGBTQ Jewish Hero by Keshet.
