Kabbalat Shabbat with Dr. Koach Baruch Frazier

  • MaTovu 4200 Blaine Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63110 United States (map)

MaTovu and Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Community (SHRC) invite you to participate in Kabbalat Shabbat led by Dr. Koach Baruch “KB” Frazier with dinner to follow.

KB will be leading the service and speaking about preparing spiritually for Passover. MaTovu is incredibly excited to welcome KB back to our community, as he served as our first rabbinical student and was an asset to our programming during our second year as an organization.

Come for services, stay for dinner! MaTovu will provide the main course (vegetarian), and we invite everyone to sign up to contribute drinks, a side dish, or dessert. (Please RSVP!)

Dr. Koach Baruch Frazier describes himself as “an audiologist, musician, co-convener of the Tzedek Lab, a dismantler of racism and a sonic and spiritual leader.” He is a native of Kansas City, and lived in St. Louis for 20 years. He has a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University and earned a doctorate in audiology from Central Michigan University. In 2020, Frazier was named an LGBTQ Jewish Hero by Keshet.
