MaTovu Welcomes New Staff Member!

We are delighted to announce that Jeremy Brok has joined MaTovu as our new Community and Strategy Lead! Jeremy has been a valued part of the MaTovu Cooperative for the past year as a Builder and we’re thrilled to welcome Jeremy into this staff role where he can continue helping us grow and add to our organizational capacity.

In this role, Jeremy will partner with our Board of Directors and Builders cooperative members to help guide MaTovu’s strategic direction, grow and strengthen community engagement, support committees and programming, and build key partnerships to sustain MaTovu’s mission and vision. He will also play a vital role in our fundraising efforts and in positioning MaTovu as a vibrant, innovative center for Jewish community life in St. Louis. Jeremy joins a growing MaTovu staff that includes Charlie Meyer, who will continue on in his part-time role as Program Coordinator where he shares, program updates, manages social media, and coordinates event rentals.

Jeremy brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and community building in St. Louis, most recently serving as LEAD STL's Director of Core Programming over the past six years. With his passion for Jewish life and deep commitment to social justice, he is well positioned to help us expand our impact and capacity for years to come.

MaTovu is a truly special community that I’m proud to call home. It’s a place where I can be my authentic Jewish self within a community committed to learning, building relationships, and serving our South City and greater St. Louis neighborhoods. I’m excited and honored to take on this new role where I can support all of the amazing work our community is doing in more substantial ways. - Jeremy

Please join us in welcoming Jeremy to the MaTovu team—we look forward to the many ways his leadership will strengthen our community.
