An Inclusive Humanist Passover Seder

Passover is one of Judaism's three high holy days, where families and communities gather for a ritual feast and exploration of the Passover story. Passover is a holiday where we open our hearts, homes, and tables to strangers and community alike, and MaTovu is pleased to welcome the stranger. Join the Matovu community for an inclusive, non-denominational, humanistic, mindful, and somewhat irreverent seder where we will follow the ritual structure of the Passover seder (established over 1000 years ago) to investigate timeless human themes and insightful time-tested stories and symbolism. Our custom-made haggadah will guide our journey and ensure an inclusive and accessible seder for everyone, regardless of past experience with Passover or Judaism. Whether you are Jewish or non-Jewish, spiritual or secular, MaTovu builder or first-time attendee, we're sure you will learn something new and have a meaningful experience.

A note on timing: The seder will begin promptly at 6pm. While there will be light snacking during the seder, the meal itself will begin around 7:30pm. If this will pose a challenge, please consider having a snack before arriving or bringing a small snack for yourself during the seder.
